Maria Villarreal

Hi, I'm Maria V. Originally from Monterrey, Mexico, I studied Nutrition at ITESM University. With a background in athletics, I've developed a passion for Nutrition and the science behind it.

During my career as a nutritionist, I worked in the public and private sectors, treating a variety of conditions. In my private practice I worked individually with patients to help them achieve their nutritional goals.

In my free time, you can find me riding my bike, playing outside with my kids, or cooking. I'm always eager to learn and I'm excited about the opportunity to talk about nutrition with y'all!

After having my first baby, I stopped taking care of myself for about a year and a half. My life revolved around my daughter. My husband got sick when she was a year and a half and that for me was a turning point because it made me realize the importance of taking care of myself first to be able to take care of my family.

My motivation is my family. My passion is movement and helping others through movement.
